1. Heating pad
The heating pad heats the glue used to mount the display. The glue softens and it is then easier to remove the screen from the frame using the picks. The heating pad is only useful for removing smartphone screens, not for opening Galaxy Books.

Using the picks, you can carefully release the screen from the frame. They are made of plastic so as not to damage the screen and frame.
